Ú Venâncio

Standing out in Portimão due to its geographical location, and with a privileged view over the River Aráde, Ú Venâncio offers a selection of regional cuisine in a fresh and pleasant atmosphere. We specialize in grilled sardines, fresh fish from the Algarve coast prepared and grilled over charcoal, which gives it a unique flavour, all accompanied by potatoes and Algarve salad, washed down with local wine, and our homemade desserts. Sardines are the gastronomic choice from the north to the south of the country. Everyone enjoys this delicacy, but nothing compares to the sardines of Portimão, a place of gastronomic pilgrimages that take place all summer long. Our ex-libris is undoubtedly the fish. We usually invite the customer to choose their fresh fish from our display, the weight of which fits the number of people for the meal. You can make it all grilled, or half grilled and half in the oven, or even in a pot with rice. All this variety is created around the raw material that inspires us, fish. It allows for a very diverse meal for couples, family and/or friends, pleasing all tastes equally.
