SUMMARY:Portuguese Youth & Junior Sailing Championships
DESCRIPTION:It has been confirmed that the Portuguese Youth and Children’s Championship for the 2025/2026 season will take place in Portimão between June 3 and 7\, 2026. Clube Naval de Portimão will be in charge of organizing the event\, which represents the highlight of the national calendar for youth sailing.  \nThe competition is aimed exclusively at the Optimist class and will bring together the best national sailors in the Children’s and Youth classes\, both male and female. The format of the championship will include the conventional fleet races (Fleet Racing)\, which determine the individual champion\, and the disputed team races (Team Racing)\, a discipline that tests the tactical and collaborative side of the young athletes.
